Aggies Fall to Tigers

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Texas A&M men’s swimming and diving team fell to 1-1 after a 156-131 dual meet loss to Missouri Friday at the Mizzou Aquatic Center.

The highlight of the meet was senior Kyle Troskot who grabbed first place in three individual events, touching first in the 50 free (20.29), the 100 free (44.92), and the 100 fly (48.75). Troskot brought in 27 individual points and also contributed to the 200 freestyle relay victory to bring in 11 more points.  Junior Ford McLiney won first place in the 1-meter dive competition with a score of 329.18. 

The Aggies closed out the meet with a solid victory in the 200 freestyle relay. The foursome of Troskot, Henrik Lindau, Cory Bolleter, and Or Sabatier hit the wall first by over two seconds with a time of 1:21.53.

The Aggies will compete next when they host the Art Adamson Invitational Nov. 21-23 at the A&M Student Recreation Natatorium.
