DALLAS - The No. 3 Texas A&M men’s golf team will conclude its fall season this week by competing at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate in Dallas.
The 54-hole, two-day tournament, which is co-hosted by Baylor and SMU, will take place at the Royal Oaks Country Club where the Aggies have enjoyed success. Since the tournament began in 2008, the Aggies have captured three of the five team titles.
Texas A&M is returning to the links after finishing fifth at the U.S. Collegiate Championship in Alpharetta, Ga., Oct. 18-21. Sophomore Andrew Lister is in the midst of a successful fall as he notched his second top-10 finish of the semester with his three-under par score at the event.
In addition to Lister, the Aggies will be represented at Royal Oaks by seniors Johannes Veerman and Jade Scott, juniors Ty Dunlap and Greg Yates as well as sophomore Ben Crancer. The top five scores per round will be counted toward the team’s score.
The tournament will begin Monday morning at 8:30am (CT) with a 36-hole shotgun start. Live scoring for the event can be found at GolfStat.com.
