BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- Texas A&M’s women’s basketball team was selected to finish fourth in the Southeastern Conference in a poll of a select panel of both SEC and national media members.

The Aggies, who won the 2013 SEC Tournament Championship, posted an 11-5 conference record in 2012-13, finishing in fourth place. Tennessee, who visits Reed Arena on Jan. 26, was selected the favorite by the voters, and boasts the league’s Preseason Player of the Year in Meighan Simmons. The voters tabbed Kentucky to finish second and LSU to finish third.
