Texas A&M will be holding an open scrimmage this Friday night at Kyle Field.

"Friday Night Lights", presented by Callaway Villas, gets underway at 8 p.m. and admission is free. A few notes:

  • No video or still photography allowed by media or fans. Media should stay in the stands. No post practice interviews.
  • Gates 5 and 9 will be open for fans to enter the stadium and fill the west side (press box side) of Kyle Field.
  • Parking for this event on surface lots surrounding Kyle Field is free. Patrons should avoid the University Center Parking garage due to an OPAS event. The lots surrounding Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park will be reserved for baseball patrons with the Aggies taking on the Auburn Tigers at 6:35 p.m.

A LETTER FROM COACH SUMLIN TO THE 12TH MAN

Howdy!

I hope the spring has gone well for the 12th Man. It’s hard to believe we are winding down spring drills and before you know it, final exams will be here!

I wanted to personally invite each of you to attend Friday Night Lights, this Friday. We will have some special guests in attendance and we would like for them to see and experience what the 12th Man is all about.

Our players have been working hard and the scrimmage at Kyle Field will start at 8 p.m. Friday and the West side of the stadium will be open to public. Come in either Gate 5 or Gate 9 to access the stands.

Bring your friends, and bring a lot of energy as you always do to Kyle Field. We appreciate the support you give to your team, the Fightin’ Texas Aggies! Our special guests will love to see that support as well.

Thanks and Gig ‘Em!

Coach Sumlin
