COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Registration for Summer 2013 Texas A&M Softball Camps is now open for players ages 9-18, Aggie Head Coach Jo Evans Announced today.
Camps are set to take place June 9-12 for softball players 13-to-18-years-old and June 13-16 for players 9-to-12-years-old. Campers will receive expert instruction from current and former Texas A&M softball players and coaches, as well as other high school and collegiate coaches, in hitting, pitching and fielding.
To ensure an optimum camper-to-coach ratio, spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The cost of camp includes individual instruction with an emphasis on fundamentals, a camp t-shirt, a camp photo, a camp certificate, and endless fun playing ball in Aggieland.
Resident campers will be housed at Traditions - a state-of-the-art off-campus dorm - and will be transported to the field each day. Three nutritional meals per day will be included in the cost of camps. Staff members will be assigned to each floor for the safety of the campers, and two athletic trainers will be available at all times.
Camps cost $425 for resident campers and $375 for day campers. A minimum deposit of $175 is due at registration, and full payment at the time of registration is expected for those who sign up online. Registration information can be found at www.AggieAthletics.com/Camps. Register now to secure a spot.
