2014-15 (Freshman)

Named the program’s Newcomer of the Year after playing in all 36 events for the Aggies … maintained a 75.03 scoring average in 36 holes of competition with five rounds of par or lower … carded a season-low round of 70 on two occasions … made his Maroon & White debut at the A&M-Princeton Dual in early September … carded a one-under round of 70 during the second round of the Talis Park Challenge (216, +3) in mid-March en route to finishing 27th place … posted his best showing of the season at the Reveille Challenge (143, -1) in mid-April, ending the 36-hole event in sixth place overall.

2013 Texas 5A State Champion and District 8-5A Champion for coach Jimmy Hellums at Belton High School in Belton, Texas … member of 2013 Jackie Burke Cup Team … selected All-State as both a junior and senior … qualified for 2012 & 2013 Texas State Amateur Championship … four-time BHS golf team MVP, helping the Tigers win three district championships … ranked by Golfweek Magazine as the No. 74 player in the nation (No. 10 in Texas).


Andrew Dean Paysee is the son of Kenny and Becky Paysse … born Aug. 10, 1995 in Temple, Texas … has two brothers, Jonathan and William … started playing golf at the age of seven with his father and brother … Comes from a big Aggie family, including parents Kenny (`87) and Becky (`89) Paysse … Has two brothers Jonathan (A&M Class of `15) and William … Two uncles (Joe Kelsey `74 and Charlie Kimmey `81), an aunt (Kathy Kimmey ’81) and four cousins (Travis `10, Grant `13 and Caroline `15 Chappell and Kelli Kimmey O’Donnell `12) who all attended Texas A&M … enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with friends … majoring in sports management.
