2014 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 17 games, including 11 starts, posting a 4-2 record with a 3.81 ERA and 61 K in 59.0 IP... worked in seven SEC games, with four starts, going 0-1 with a 7.97 ERA and 15 K in 20.1 IP... made first career appearance in the season opener, working 2.0 scoreless innings against Northeastern (2/14)... made first career start vs. SFA (2/18), striking out eight and allowing one run on three hits and one walk in 4.1 innings... earned first career win with a season-high nine strikeouts, allowing an unearned run on three hits and two walks over 6.1 innings against HBU (2/25)... picked up win at UTA (3/4), working 5.2 shutout innings, scattering five hits and one walk while equaling a career-high with nine strikeouts... earned win against UTPA ( 3/11), weaving 5.0 blank frames with two hits and two walks with six strikeouts... pitched first career complete-game in NCAA Regional win vs. Texas (6/1), allowing two runs on four hits and five walks while striking out nine over 9.0 innings... played for the Mat-Su Miners of the Alaska Baseball League... named ABL Pitcher of the Year, ABL Top Prospect and All-ABL... led the ABL in wins (5) and ERA (1.06) and ranked third in strikeouts (45)... logged a 5-0 record with three CGs and one shutout and held foes to a .204 batting average... fanned 45 and issued just seven BB in 41.2 IP.

 AT LUFKIN HIGH SCHOOL: Played under Jason Stanley, earning an MVP first team All-District honor….led the Panthers to the third round of playoffs his sophomore year…senior year (2013), finished off the season with 47 strike outs over the course of three back-to-back games…also participated in football as quarterback receiving two letters and first team All-District honors as a senior…as QB, he broke passing records , number of touchdown passes in a game and held the title of longest pass ever at Lufkin…led the team to the first round of playoffs his junior year, and the third round his senior year…played baseball for the Renegades in the Summer.

PERSONAL: Tyler Allan Stubblefield was born October 19, 1993 to Gandy Stubblefield in Topeka, Kansas…has a younger brother, Kole… an Atlanta Braves 36th Round Pick in the MLB June Amateur Draft…majoring in Leadership with the aspiration to become a firefighter…appreciates filling his spare time with baseball, church, food and hanging out with friends.
