At Flower Mound High School: Played for Marte Amrine at Flower Mound High School... received District 8-5A MVP and 8-5A first team pitcher honors… logged a win-loss record of 6-1, four saves, a batting average of .380 and 16 stolen bases his junior year and an average of .472, three homeruns, 18 stolen bases and a win-loss record of 7-1 his senior year… led the DFW area in hits and batting average his senior year... team advanced to the first round of playoffs his junior year and the third round his senior year... played summer baseball for the DBAT Mustangs... named to the New Balance All-American All-Tournament team and the Perfect Game All-Tournament team.
