2012 (SOPHOMORE)
Started 15 games as the Sunday starter for the Aggies after recovering from a shoulder injury his freshman season... posted a 5-1 record with a 2.71 ERA and 83.0 innings pitched... struck out 44 while walking only 15... named to the College Baseball Foundation National Pitcher of the Year Watch List (50 players listed) in April... earned his first win when he made his collegiate debut against Illinois-Chicago on Feb. 19 where he took a no-hitter into the eighth inning, pitched eight innings, allowed one hit, walked none and struck out three... posted his season high in strikeouts against Holy Cross on Feb. 26, where he pitched seven innings, allowed five hits, two earned runs, struck out eight and walked one... pitched a complete game and earned the win against Kansas State on March 18, allowing eight hits, two runs, one earned run, walked one and struck out three.

2011 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN)
Went through fall drills with the team but did not see action in the spring ... played summer ball with the Coppell Copperheads ... compiled a 4-0 summer record with a 0.69 ERA, two saves and 34 strikeouts in 30.1 innings of work ... named a top 10 prospect and an All-Star in the Texas Collegiate League.

AT CROWLEY HIGH SCHOOL
A four-year letterwinner for coach Mark Jones at Crowley High School in Fort Worth ... earned second-team all-district honors and was named team MVP as a senior (2009) ... went 5-0 in district play with a 1.88 ERA, striking out 56 in 41 innings of work, in leading the Eagles to the second round of the state playoffs ... team advanced to playoffs all four seasons ... played summer ball for the Fort Worth Monarchs and Dallas Tigers ... helped the Tigers reach the Connie Mack Tournament, tossing six shutout innings against the Four Corners Thunder at the tournament.
