2012-13 (SENIOR)
Honored by the Golf Coaches Association of America with a spot on the PING All-Central Region Team … emerged as a major contributor as a senior after playing in only seven tournaments during his first three seasons at Texas A&M … participated in 11 tournaments, 10 as a member of the Aggie line-up … 25 of his 30 rounds (83%) have counted toward the team score … held a team-low 72.48 scoring average for the season with 16 rounds of par or better and a season-low round of 66 … has notched two top-five finishes and five top-10 finishes … owns the Aggies’ only individual win of the season, earning medalist honors during the Individual Championship of the Kikkor Golf Husky Invitational with a five-under par 208 … carded a fifth place at the SeaBest Invitational (220, +4) in early February, which he followed up with another top-10 performance at the John Burns Intercollegiate (219, +4), firing a final round 69 to move up the leaderboard to eighth … shot under par in the first and third rounds of the Don Puckette NIT (212, -4) to end the event in ninth place … placed 14th at the Aggie Invitational (218, +2) … stood out as the highest-placing A&M golfer on the leaderboard at the SEC Championship (212, +2), carding a second-round 67 to finish in a tie for seventh … recorded a hole-in-one on No. 17 of the third round at the SEC Championship … has carded the Aggies’ lowest final round a team-best five times, including each of the previous three tournaments ... finished in a tie for 45th at the NCAA Tempe Regional (216, +6) … finished the season with a 49th place showing at the NCAA Championship (212, +2).

2011-12 (JUNIOR)
Appeared in three tournaments, two as an individual … season scoring average was 76.33 … placed 14th at the HBU Men’s Intercollegiate in the fall (218, +5) … opened the tourney with a career-best 71 … finished 44th at the Aggie Invitational (235, +19) in April.

2010-11 (SOPHOMORE)
Appeared in one tournament, the Aggie Invitational, as an individual ... season stroke average of 77.3 with a low of 75 ... placed 44th with a 16-over 232, which included his season-low 75 in the final round ... earned a Texas A&M Athletics Scholar Award.

Appeared in three events for the Aggies, participating in six rounds (all as an individual) ... season average was 78.50 ... low round was 74 ... carded a 77 in first round for the maroon and white, tying for 35th at the Coca-Cola Classic in the fall ... tied for 21st as an individual at the St. Edward’s Invitational in February (79-74=153) ... also competed at the Aggie Invitational in April.


Helped Highland Park High School to three state championships...served as team captain as a senior...rated No. 107 nationally in the Class of 2008 by Golfweek...team also won four regional and four district crowns...earned all-region and all-district honors as a senior...placed second at 2007 Texas Junior Golf Tour Houstonian Invitational, which included an opening-round of 69...won two prep tournaments...posted two top 10 finishes in AJGA competition and three top fives in TJGT events...carded a career-best 66 at Royal Oaks CC in Dallas...lettered four years in golf...coached by Art Spencer.

Andrew Scott Evans is the son of Keith and Marilyn Evans of Dallas...born November 20, 1989 in Dallas...general studies major...began playing golf at age 10...best competitive round has been 66...has not had a hole-in-one...favorite course is Shoal Creek...earned Eagle Scout status...also recruited by Oklahoma, Baylor and SMU.
