Matthew Kee begins his eighth year as a member of the Texas A&M athletic training staff. A state licensed physical therapist and a nationally certified athletic trainer, Matt is responsible for the prevention, care, and rehabilitation of injuries for the Aggie football team. In addition to the football team, Matt provides rehabilitation services to all Aggie athletes that need rehabilitation services.
Born in Plainview, New York, Matt received his undergraduate degree in athletic training from West Virginia University. Upon his graduation in 2002, Matt went to physical therapy school in Mesa, Arizona at the Arizona School of Health Sciences where he received a doctorate degree in physical therapy. After graduating from physical therapy school in 2005, Matt worked a year-long internship with the Oakland Raiders of the NFL.
In addition to his physical therapy licensure and national certification as an athletic trainer, Matt is First Aid, CPR, and AED certified. He worked the ESPN Summer X games in 2010. Matt is married to Stephanie Kee who is the athletic trainer for Texas A&M softball. The couple has a 3 year old daughter named Kayla Rose. In his spare time, Matt enjoys golfing, playing hockey, and playing with his family and dog.
